Phoebe, Arctic Fox

My head is full of stories, and sometimes they get as far as a concept drawing.  This is one such.

Phoebe lives in a fantasy world filled with animals and completely unrelated animal-human hybrids.  She is the daughter of two arctic fox-people, and though neither of her parents have any bird-people in their lineage, she was mysteriously born with wings.  Story progresses, yada, yada, and eventually, she learns that her father was told in a vision before she was born to name her "Phoenix."  Because he didn't believe in visions or phoenixes, however, her father decided instead to name her "Phoebe."

So, at some point in the story, Phoebe finds out that she's the "chosen one," destined to save her world, her real name is Phoenix, and she has phoenix wings.  The story is obviously very rough and bordering on cliche'.

Oh, and one other thing; the inhabitants of this fictional world all believe they are imaginary.
